Slots Optimization meetings
HSCA is hosting virtual meetings with airlines to optimize slots/schedules, for S23 scheduling period, during 24 and 25 of January between 0700-1500 UTC.
Initially, one (1) meeting will be accepted per airline until the volume of requests is normalized.

H.S.C.A. would like to inform you that due to the participation in the 151st IATA Slot Conference in Melbourne and for the period 14 - 18 November 2022, as far as all coordination matters are concerned, working hours will be adjusted accordingly (UTC+10).

O.C.S. available for S22
H.S.C.A. would like to inform you that for S22, Online Coordination System (O.C.S.) is available for Greek airports under the following rules:
Commercial flights: 21 days horizon, single date only.
GABA flights: 14 days horizon, GABA Rules & Guidelines apply.

GA/BA request procedure for S22
H.S.C.A. would like to inform you that the way GABA requests with aircraft registration will be handled from S22 scheduling period, has changed. A short document with guidance is available for download. GABA Rules and Guidelines document has been updated to reflect the procedure, and the guidance is included as Appendix C. EUACA - Ιmplementation of Article 10(4)(e) (JNUS)
H.S.C.A. would like to inform you that according to the decisions of the EUACA meeting, Force Majeure (or Justified Non-Use of Slots (FM/JNUS) shall be granted until Friday 14 May 2021 included and a “recovery period” of six weeks for all cancellations until Friday 25 June 2021 included.

EU Amendment of the Slot Regulation
H.S.C.A. would like to inform you that EU published today the amendment of the Slot Regulation.
The deadline date for carriers to return series was updated. Carriers must return series before 28Feb. Our guidance is updated to reflect this change and sets now ERD to 27Feb, 22h59 UTC (iso 26Feb).

Proposal from the European Commission
for a revised EU Slot Regulation
The European Union is currently discussing a proposal from the European Commission, amended by the Council Presidency, to adopt a revised EU Slot Regulation which would apply in Summer 2021 (and possibly beyond). Until further notice, the existing EU Slot Regulation remains in force.

Change of Level for Summer 2021
H.S.C.A. would like to inform you that Thessaloniki (LGTS/SKG) and Skiathos (LGSK/JSI) airports are designated by the Managing Authority as "Schedule Facilitated Airports" (IATA Level 2) for the Summer Season 2021. For the same period, Aktio (LGPZ/PVK) and Samos (LGSM/SMI) airports are designated as "Not Coordinated Airports" (IATA Level 1)
